The City Planning and Development Office as the catalyst for the continuous and sustainable integrated and holistic growth of the City through its efficient, participatory and determined formulation, integration, implementation and monitoring of development plans and programs.
Mission
To provide its clientele accessible, competent, tireless and timely services necessary for the city’s achievement of overall development.
General Functions of CPDO
In charge of formulating integrated economic, social, physical and other development plans and policies for consideration of the City as well as integrating and coordinating all sectoral development plans, policies and studies undertaken by the different functional groups or agencies which are all aimed of attaining the city’s development and extending the basic services needed by the constituents and in the ultimate, the city vision.
Ensures that all projects and development within the City of Balanga are in accordance with the development plans and the Comprehensive Land and Water Use Plan (CLWUP)
