Functions

In general, the office is tasked to establish and maintain a sound personnel program carrying into affect the provisions of the Civil Service Law and Rules and other pertinent laws. It shall promulgate and recommend changes in policy, practice, rules and regulations affecting the personnel program. It shall adopt plans and programs, which will promote an efficient, effective, and economical personnel administration.

The office shall also provide leadership and assistance in the development and retention of qualified and efficient workforce; administer trainings and staff development, and implement, evaluate and monitor all personnel actions.
