Functions
Mayor’s Office
Supervision and control of over all programs, projects, services and activities of the city government.
Enforce all laws and ordinances relative to the governance of the city and the exercise of its corporate powers provided for under Section 22 of the code, services and activities of the city.
Initiate and maximize the generation of resources and revenues.
Ensure the delivery of basic services and the provision of adequate facilities as provided for under Section 17 of the code.
Exercise such other powers and perform such other duties and functions as may be described by law or ordinance.
Employment and Manpower Section
This Division handles the labor and employment assistance for the constituents of Balanga.
Risk and Management Section
This section shall provide leadership in emergency preparedness, disaster risk reduction, response and recovery for the City of Balanga in order to protect lives and property in the event of natural or manmade disaster and/or emergencies.
