The City of Balanga officially inaugurated the two-story Multi-Purpose Hall located in Barangays Bagumbayan and Central.
The Multipurpose Hall in Barangay Central covers an area of 189 square meters. The ground floor accommodates the Day Care Center, Barangay Outpost, and a space for Senior Citizens, while the second floor features a conference room, an Alternative Learning System (ALS) classroom, and the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) office. Barangay Central will also serve as the temporary location for City Health Center III, following its relocation from Cupang.
In Barangay Bagumbayan, the Multi-Purpose Hall measures 50.70 square meters, complemented by an 81-square-meter Barangay Hall, a 63-square-meter Child Development Center (CDC), and a 38.8-square-meter Barangay Health Center. These spaces are thoughtfully designed to ensure that both children and residents have access to well-structured environments for learning and community services.
The establishment of this center is a testament to the commitment of the City Government of Balanga, under the leadership of Mayor Francis Anthony Garcia, Vice-Mayor Vianca Lita Gozon, and the Sangguniang Panlungsod in its mission to elevate educational and social services for the community.
In attendance at the event were elected members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, Board Member and ABC Federated President Romeo Austria, and barangay officials, who gathered to affirm their continued support for the center’s mission.
