The City Government of Balanga held its 2024 Grand Santacruzan on May 20, 2024, a cherished annual festivity that showcases the city’s rich cultural and religious heritage. This event brought together residents and visitors to commemorate the traditional procession.

Organized by the City Tourism Office through Mr. Norlie Castro, the procession saw active participation from city government officials and employees, including the Sangguniang Kabataan, Punong Barangays, and other non-governmental organizations (NGOs). They danced and walked alongside the beautifully adorned Balangueñas, led by Reyna Elena, Balanga City Tourism Council President Ms. Sherrie Gonzalo. 

Through the leadership of City Mayor Hon. Francis Anthony Garcia, Vice Mayor Hon. Vianca Lita Gozon, and members of Sangguniang Panlungsod, the 2024 celebration stands as a testament to the enduring spirit and faith of the people of Balanga, ensuring that their cherished traditions will be passed down to future generations.
