Through the leadership of Mayor Francis Anthony S. Garcia, Vice-Mayor Vianca Lita V. Gozon, and the Sangguniang Panlungsod Members, a total of 210 senior citizens have been granted social pensions in various barangays in the City of Balanga. This effort aims to provide financial assistance to selected elderly residents, ensuring they receive the support they need in their golden years.

On behalf of the SP Members, Hon. Marie Nazareth Vasquez with the CSWD, led the distribution of social pensions, highlighting the local government’s commitment to the welfare of its senior citizens. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance the quality of life for the elderly, addressing their financial and social needs.

The beneficiaries of this social pension program were carefully selected based on specific criteria to ensure that those most in need receive assistance. This initiative not only provides financial relief but also serves as a recognition of the invaluable contributions of senior citizens to society.
