March 31, 2023 – The City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office – Fire, Search, and Rescue Unit led the three-day intensive training of 100 Bataan Peninsula State University NSTP students at Sibul Spring, Abucay, Bataan.

Among the topics discussed during the training were high-angle rescue and ropemanship, water search and rescue training, first aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) training, and firefighting training. A simulation was conducted by the CDRRMO after the training to evaluate student learning.

The City Government of Balanga, under the able leadership of Mayor Francis Anthony S. Garcia, Vice-Mayor Vianca Lita V. Gozon, and the Sangguniang Panlungsod, is always willing to provide services like these to support student learning.
