February 21, 2023 – The City Government of Balanga brought back “Kasalang Bayan,” an annual mass wedding ceremony offered for free to all the residents of Balanga.
Held at Emiliana Hall, sixty-three (63) couples tie the knot before Mayor Francis Anthony S. Garcia, who officiated the wedding ceremony.
By way of sharing, Mayor Garcia advised the new couples on how to keep a healthy and happy relationship. He also assured them of the local government’s strong support in creating a safe and healthy environment for the family that they will make in the future.
Meanwhile, Mayor Garcia’s wife, Mayora Raquel, highlighted the strong commitment that comes with marriage. Because the relationship has leveled up, it is important that they take the initiative to better themselves for their partners.
The meaningful ceremony included the signing of the Marriage Certificate, slicing of wedding cakes, and wine toasting to the bride and groom. Three couples also shared their love stories.
